90% of all Spanish 1 students scored at or above the proficiency target on the national AAPPL speaking test. That means you will actually learn Spanish.
90% of all Spanish 2 students scored at or above the proficiency target on the national AAPPL speaking test. That means you will actually learn Spanish.
If you take 3 consecutive years of Spanish (levels 1-3), it will also count as a language arts credit.
You can earn a seal of bi-literacy on your diploma, which looks good on college applications, scholarship applications, and job applications.
If you stick with Spanish you can get free college credit if you take and pass the AP test.
You need to complete 2 years of a foreign language in order to get accepted into a college after you graduate high school.
You need to complete 2 consecutive years of a foreign language to qualify for the regence scholarship.
