Heritage Speakers and AP Spanish
90% of all Spanish 1 students scored at or above the proficiency target on the national AAPPL speaking test. That means you will actually learn Spanish.
90% of all Spanish 2 students scored at or above the proficiency target on the national AAPPL speaking test. That means you will actually learn Spanish.
If you take an AP Spanish course, it will also count as a language arts credit your senior year.
You can earn a seal of bi-literacy on your diploma, which looks good on college applications, scholarship applications, and job applications.
If you take AP Spanish you can earn college credit if you take and pass the AP test.
Two years of a foreign language is recommed and sometimes requred in order to get accepted into certain colleges.
